Introduction: Reliable Fasteners Pvt Ltd is a STAR - DOUBLE FIVE group enterprise. This group has been in the manufacture of Fasteners ( 55 Brand ) and Machines to make fasteners and other special purpose machines under trade name STAR ENGINEERING CO. for more than last thirty years.

The manufacturing facilities at Reliable Fasteners Pvt Ltd were established at B - 72, Industrial Area, Phase VII, Mohali (Punjab) during 1995 for producing Precision quality High Tensile Fasteners. The company had been mostly exporting its products till now. The company is now ready for Domestic marketing with better production and marketing set-up.

The product range: The product mix of the company includes Hex Head High Tensile Screws / Bolts, Special High Tensile Fasteners, Tested Quality Rivets, Mild Steel Bolts / Screws and commercial quality Rivets.

Installed facilities : The unit is having all the facilities right from the processing of Raw material, tooling, manufacture, heat treatment, testing, finishing and packing under one roof. A brief study of the available facilities will give the inkling about the quality product.

Raw material processing block: The raw-material of the unit is Wire Rod in coils of various grades. Only the quality certified materials are used and the testing for the same is also conducted in own lab. This block has following line:

Material handling : A moving lifting crane for unloading from trucks and racking of raw material at proper place with 1.5 M.T. load capacity. It also covers the Pickling line.

Pickling line: Steel tanks with rubber lining are used for pickling of descaled raw material.

Descaler and Wire Drawing Machines: One Horizontal descaler of 16mm dia max. capacity and two wire drawing machines of 10mm and 16mm Max. capacity with matching capacity Butt welder and Pointing machine are used to draw wires to the required sizes.

Annealing Furnace: GEC - ALSTHOM make 110 KW and 2.5 M.T. batch capacity Pit Cyclic furnace with Electronic Cycle Programmer and thirstier controls. Wire is annealed for products requiring annealed wires.

Tool Room and Maintenance Block: The unit is meeting all the requirements of Tools and Dies by itself. Following machines are available and complete tooling work is done in house. Maintenance is also taken care within.

Fasteners Heat Treatment Block: The quality of High Tensile fasteners depends upon the equipment and method followed for Heat treatment. Though a visual study of product may not reveal the shortcomings but if put to microscopic tests the products hardened by crude methods and with inferior equipment will fail to match the quality norms.

Surface Finishing Block: Fasteners are usually requiring Blackening or Zinc Plating. Unit is equipped with one complete line for the purpose and has overhead moving lifting arrangements for the movement of barrels from one stage to the other.
